Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated individual who is well-versed in all types of boats, from small skiffs to 50 foot sailing vessels, to join our team as a Marine Maintenance Technician. This position involves ensuring the continuous readiness and upkeep of our owner's fleet of vessels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining cleanliness of vessels.
• Keeping vessels fueled.
• Checking and maintaining fluids in vessels.
• Performing repairs to engines, transmissions, and other mechanical items as skills allow.
• Scheduling maintenance and other repairs that are beyond the scope of individual skills.
• Operating vessels with proficiency.
• Assisting other staff as needed to achieve overall objectives.
• Ensuring that all vessels are compliant with United States Coast Guard and South Carolina Department of Natural Resources regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Thorough knowledge of boats and operational systems.
• Ability to work with vendors to schedule and monitor repairs and maintenance.
• Proficiency in safely operating motor vessels.
• Knowledge of boating operation regulations.
• Mechanical skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
